The workshops have successfully attracted a total of 1,464 attendees from various faculties across King Abdulaziz University (KAU).

Seminar Series Highlights:

The Academic Writing Research Unit has conducted three seminar discussions this semester related to the use of AI in teaching and improving academic writing including: AI tools to enhance writing skills, improving writing skills through automated feedback, and personalized writing tutoring through AI chatbots.

Faculty Research Spotlight:

Faculty from the English Language Institute (ELI) have conducted a study that highlights pressing issues in academic writing. The research, titled "An Appraisal of Recurring Grammar Errors in Saudi Premedical EFL Learners’ Academic Writing," sheds light on the persistent grammatical challenges faced by premedical students learning English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in Saudi Arabia.
